What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, which stimulates the skin cell receptors to improve and restore firmness of the skin. Profhilo helps to combat the signs of ageing as it hydrates the skin and also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. It reduces dullness, skin laxity, and fine lines.

Where can it be used?

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck, and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area, where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women, as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

How many sessions will I need?

The treatment is divided into 2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3 to 6 months.

Is there any downtime?

You may experience some swelling/bruising at the injection site; however, these are minor and can be covered with mineral-based makeup.

When will I see results?

The final result will be seen 4 weeks after your final treatment. As with every treatment, results will vary from person to person and depend upon the degree of correction required, your age and lifestyle, and your body’s response to treatment.
